Can I make shift-click with Pen tool work differently?

Right now, if you shift-click while using Pen, it works exactly like it does in Photoshop, creates line between your current cursor and place clicked last. I find this clumsy and odd (much like everything in Photoshop is).

Is there a way to make it behave like same thing does in PyxelEdit or - Line tool in asesprite itself does – i.e. make a line between mouse-button-down and -up (drag functionality), instead of forcing you to remember where you clicked last?

A script or something perhaps?

And if not, is there a way to assign, say, third mouse button to cycle between line and pen tool?

I love asesprite, but this odd behavior forces me to switch between line and pen tool all the time (to get comfortable line making functionality) and highly hampers workflow.

Thanks.

it’s kinda useful when you are working quickly to be quite honest.

You can bind shift, or whichever button you prefer, to “Line Tool (quick)” and unbind it from “Freehand Tool: Straight Line from Last Point” under Action Modifiers.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I needed! Thanks!
