The gif should more or less explain what is wrong. Aseprite version 1.2.12
While zooming out on a 300x100 px canvas, any size lower than 100% changes the colour of the canvas to the currently picked colour. If I hover over the canvas with the mouse the canvas gets cleared and shows the actual image that it’s supposed to display.
Edit: it got fixed in 1.2.12.1
