I was attempting to apply an effect with Convolution Matrix, but it continually applies to the entire canvas. I know it isn’t either having the layer selected, because I’ve tried deselecting the layer beforehand and still had it occur. I also know that it isn’t having “All” selected, because I’ve intentionally selected and deselected that option to no avail. What is especially puzzling is the fact that if I select “Apply” and then “Cancel”, the only effect to be cancelled is the area I’m intending to apply the effect to. The rest of the canvas keeps the effect and needs to be Ctrl+Z’d to undo. This doesn’t feel intentional, but let me know if there is something new I can do to resolve this bug.
Other noteworthy information: This is applying to other projects, not just just the one I’m attempting to modify. Even opening a new document and doodling something quick in order to test it results in the same problem occurring. I’ve also disabled the few extensions that aren’t in Aseprite by default. None of these changes did anything. Trying to recreate the bug on another computer with Aseprite doesn’t have it happen.
