So I have exported this gif which works fine on every other platform except Giphy. The animated part has a weird colour overlay as if it’s only showing the moving parts. I exported it without a background but that works fine. 
Make sure your background isn’t a background layer. You can see if it’s a background layer by the underscored layer name. If it’s underscored, right click it and pick layer from background. Currently there is a bug with background layers causing gifs to wig out.
Solved! Thank you. The reverse actually worked for me. I change it to “Background from Layer” and it worked!
