Hi guys,
Looking to use Aseprite to do some background in 16 colours. I was using SciStudio’s drawing tool which uses a palette like this made up of 16 colours (MSDOS EGA) as a base then additional colours mixed with another colour:
Is there a way to add to the existing CGA palette the “dithering” colours (ie one of the 16 colours mixed with another) so they appear in the palette on the top left?
Hello. I have the same question. Did you ever find an answer? I’ve tried the Dithering Brushes tool which is helpful but not quite what I’m looking for.
Hi,
The only work around I found was to create the 2x2 square using the two (dithering) colours as a new document, select it all then cmd+B it to add it to the current brush and then draw with that. Press escape to go back to the standard palette. Its a long way around but would be cool to have that included in the CGA palette in Aseprite.
