2 accounts problem

So just curious. I got my download link a while back and that worked fine. Since this new website change I have to go to my email with the purchase verification to get to my account. I have no other way to login to that account. So in order to use this forum I had to create another account. Is this the new thing and my purchase account is just in the wind now?

Hi @csbarnett1975, actually you have two accounts:

  1. For this forum, the one called “csbarnett1975” which is only one associated to post in this forum, and
  2. The one associated with your email address in https://aseprite.org/user to download/access Aseprite updates.

Both accounts are not connected, as many customers don’t create a forum account, and sometimes users that don’t purchase Aseprite need a forum account, i.e. if they are compiling Aseprite from GitHub.
