A ruler tool would be useful

a ruler feature would be nice. it would basically work like the line tool, and/or the rectangle tool, and once you stop dragging instead of making a line, it would measure the pixels

but that is basically a tool already, when you select a rectangle with the marquee tool, in the bottom left you’ll see the selection’s width, height and it should also show the diagonal if I remember correctly, so basically if you draw a rectangle from one point to another, it should also show you the line length with the diagonal
