I really love the Advance Mode (Ctrl+F) mode to pixelate without distractions, but even with the color selector available as a floating panel I truly miss the color palette selector, which is more useful once you have your palette created. Also, allowing to move the palette, you can put it close to the area you are drawing for a while. It’s about flexibility.
Maybe it could be a good idea to apply this UI pattern to any panel, like Photoshop and similar tools do.
I could be misunderstanding how this will work but on the github it says there are plans to make things dockable. I assume once everything is dockable you can also get rid of them leaving only the palette.
