Another full body animated sprite (Mila-Miside)

If Mila was made into an animated sprite.
Obs: This sprite was more work than usual. Because there are more frames than I’m used to in a full body animation.

it looks really good! the only criticisms have is the head is static, she has a bunch of face expressions but the face has very little movement, yes it goes up and down but that’s it, and the tie could have a little more movement but other than those two things it looks really good!

Thank you for your criticism, I really tried to do something with the head, but I still don’t have the skills to move it in a way that feels natural. But I’ll keep trying until I get it one day. Thank you very much for the compliment!

Your character has a lot of style! The animation’s perspective feels a bit flat due to the straight-on face and shoulder movement. Great job on the animation—especially how the shadow matches the movement.

To simplify animation, consider using colors for different pieces (head, shoulders, knees and toes [even if temporarily]) and simple 3D shapes. The hair moves too in sync as one object when that should be more rigid on the top and more flowing on the hair ends. You could add strands from the back that are revealed by the motion. Smears can help convey motion more dynamically. Although about a run animation I watch this guy frequently, check out this video [or if it isn’t helpful look through his channel for something a bit more relevant] for fluidity ideas— animation tips are even more crucial for larger scales!
