I don’t know where to put this so I’ll put it in bug report. I don’t know if you know this but I have found what appears to be an aseprite chinese clone in the app store. From Jiaxing Fengeon Software, it’s calle Resprite.

shoulda put on site feedback or development, and yeah according to the license this looks relly sketchy.
from what i am finding it seems like this is just a clone in a looklike sense and is not copying any exclusive code, they even seen to have different features, however i cannot say for certain since they are suspiciosly close-source, so i cant inspect the code.
they could also be a fork of LibreSprite, which in itself is a fork of aseprite, with the difference that they are under a General Public License, meaning that thery could use for a paid product.
