is there a official roadmap somewere, i found one but is 2017 and i feel like there should be a part on the official site that shows a roadmap and what is planned for the near future and whats is more down the line, like theres one in a progrma called tilesetter

on https://www.aseprite.org/ you scroll to the bottom of the page and in the column “development” there is a link to roadmap
Just in case I want to say that the roadmap is updated from time to time, but there are a lot of features that are proposed by users in the path so priorities changes over time (for example, the tilemap editor was moved from v1.6 to v1.3).
Sometimes the best way to prioritize new features is to 
an issue in GitHub or 
a feature in the community site.
