Happy new year asepriters! (is it too late? ) Yesterday we’ve released a couple of new versions fixing a lot of bugs/crashes and adding new features that will make your life a little better:
New plugin.version and plugin.displayName properties #4904
If v1.3.12-beta1 is stable enough, it might become the next stable in a couple of weeks Remember that the beta is available only in the Steam beta channel.
i have a problem downloading from humble bundle - it sends me to whalebone ‘connection not secure’ error page.
i tried different browser, but got same response.
Happy new year Olga! Generally it’s an issue in the Humble Bundle library website. You can Ctrl+R to refresh the page and update any cached download link, it should update the date of the links to yesterday and the download link start working.
Hi!
I use Aseprite only short time, V1.3.11 is my first update. But I am confused, I miss some features from 1.3.11-betas, like interactive text tool or diagonal symmetries, etc. Did they not get to 1.3.11 final version?
@dacap David, I have an minor issue on the Ui, I don’t know if someone already report this behavior. When I drawing a line or select an object on the scene and I touch with this selection or line on the border of the stage the screen go down and I have to centralize the image again. If you need I can generate a Video. My file have 2048 x 2048, I prefer to work on a big file instead multiples files…
@Leonardo_Amora probably the “auto-scroll” feature is not working as expected/smoothly enough, you can try to disable from Edit > Preferences > Editor > Auto-scroll on editor edges:
That’s right, v1.3.11 is like v1.3.10 patched, it’s not related to the beta v1.3.11-beta1. I know it’s confusing, but it’s the best we can do at the moment to offer preview/new features ASAP. Soon we’ll convert one beta into the main version (but we’ll need to do it with time, as I think a lot of users support will be required, a lot has changed, mainly in the text rendering area).
Thanks for explanation! I’ve got used, you know, to more traditional attitude like “alpha (added new features) - beta (feature freeze) - release version (debugged)”. But I’ve got your point, thanks.
