Just saw on the board that 1.2 was now live on the stable branch, but I only saw it because I was browsing the forum. Is there an automatic emailer (or something similar) to sign up for so we don’t miss these notifications?

Maybe I could add an announcement thread here in the forum so people can follow/subscribe via email

The dedicated release thread sounds like a good idea. It would allow us to get information about updates exclusively.
