There are things like this out there, but I wanted a simple version of it for aseprite, so here it is.
If you want to modify the resulting layout, you can modify the template file found in the same folder as the script.

I was surprised to see a recent interaction from you here. I started following your work very recently and you have some phenomenal projects. I was looking for other boards you might frequent in search and stumbled here. I was wondering if you’re still working on any short videos or games as of late and if there are any platforms you’re more active on? You really have some of the best sprite animations I’ve ever seen. Your attention to detail is really something else. All the best
I’m working on games, but I’m currently not active anywhere. I’ll be alive again once my current game is done and ready to release.
