Forgive me if these are known, I haven’t got the time to study the current reports, unfortunately.
When I copy a selected square space, and then paste that image a number of times, lets say eight times, and then I change to another brush or tool, suddenly it becomes a stamp of a distorted copy of what I had copied previously. The line tool, pencil, paint bucket, all of them behave as I described. I had to shut down the software to clear it up. I am unsure if I can reproduce it but I will try if necessary.
Secondly when I use the gradient tool to fill the background it creates a state where all of the brushes leave scuff marks across the image as the cursor moves around, without any buttons being pressed to paint or draw, just the mouse over. Those marks vanish as soon as another tool is selected, but then it keeps occurring. I have a video of it in action. Well, I am on an HP Omen laptop with windows 11 if that makes any difference.
