I’ve been updating Aseprite using Humble, but today I just tried redeeming the Steam code at the bottom of the page. Steam installed the newest version for me, but didn’t uninstall the previous version, probably because it wasn’t a Steam entity? It could be worse- at least the new ver knows my settings instead of being a blank slate. Windows 11 has a list of installed apps in the Settings, so I guess I can use it to manually uninstall the old version, but… would that automatically delete the aforementioned config data or something? Not the biggest computer whiz here.
