i don’t think i’m doing anything wrong, have tried every different combination i can think of, but I cannot get aseprite to change the background color.
I change the color, hit ‘apply’ nothing happens, color remains this purplish color. Have tried restarting, changing color modes, using indexed colors, etc; but the purple remains lol
These settings are for the background colour grid that’s shown when you have transparent pixels with no background behind them. You’re looking to change the theme, not the background colour.
There you should see theme.xml file, inside you’re looking to change the editor_face value to whatever HEX color value you want. I’d recommend making a backup of this file though.
