Can't open files from explorer when Aseprite is installed via Steam

I have Aseprite installed via Steam, but when I try to double click an .aseprite file, it asks what program I want to use to open it, I navigate to the location where Steam installed it, select it, and the same popup appears, but this time only with the button Use Once, and keeps popping up, every time I try to select Aseprite.

I’m on Windows 11, Steam and Aseprite are up to date as of 2023-09-02.

It does seem to work if I have a separate installed version of Aseprite (from the website).
