I think I have found a bug where the application will crash after settings the canvas beyond around 3000 pixels because it’s lagging so much. I feel like there should be a feature that limit the canvas size.
Hi @Pixel_Master, what version of Aseprite are you using? are you on Windows/macOS/Linux?
At the moment there is no such limit because you should be able to create a canvas as big as that (e.g. I can create a canvas 9000x9000 without issues). Anyway bigger canvases can generate some lag issues. (There is a hard limit of 65535x65535 as max canvas size when a new file is created).
