Two common document-closing features that I often wish were in Aseprite:

  • Close other tabs
  • Close tabs to right

Yeah, wish it was in Aseprite. It would help making sprites and pixel art much better.+

Hi there! What should happen when tabs are rearranged in different views?

  • should “Close Other Tabs” close all tabs in the set or all tabs in the whole app?
  • I imagine that “Close Tabs to the Right” should close only the tabs at the right of the current set

Yes, I would expect it to close only tabs right of the current set.

I didn’t see those options in Aseprite yet so I made a plugin for it! It’s a little janky because I couldn’t find any other way to determine the tab position, but it gets the jobs done.
