Color space on Mac (Apple Silicon) doesn't seem correct

Hi,

I’m using Aseprite on a Mac Pro with an M1 chip.

When I using a pure green, I found that the color doesn’t seem right
Below is a screenshot of

Hey… I found another problem…
It seems that when a picture is uploaded to the site, it loses its color profile!

A screenshot taken on mac is in display-p3 color space
The screenshot below is the original screenshot I uploaded, it seems the color in the “Color Utility” in mac is nearly the same with the one in asesprite

Hey again, when I’m trying to create the post, I was told I can’t post more than 1 pic once
So, I’ll try posting other pictures below

After I convert the screenshot to sRGB using photoshop, it would look like this
a screenshot

In this image, I tried using the sRGB “pure green” color code in Display-P3 (117, 251, 76), and then viewed it back in sRGB.

My Asesprite’s color setting is default, like this

So, I suspect Aseprite is converting the color from sRGB to P3, and then incorrectly converting it back to sRGB?

I hope this post helps you figure out what’s going on. If you need any more information, I’d be happy to provide it.

your working rgb space is different than the one you are comparing to, at leasti think so, im not sure how the program you got works, but on extreme colors, minutia tends gets lost and averaged when eyedroped.
