Hello friends! When compiling Aseprite with git clone --recursive https://github.com/aseprite/aseprite.git
Am I compiling the latest BETA version (v1.3-beta7) or the STABLE version (v1.2.30)? The instructions in the INSTALL file were not very clear, hence my question.
This goes for any git repository – if you don’t specify a version to clone, it’s going to download the default branch, which in this case is main. If you want a specific version, you can check out the branch if you know how, or as INSTALL.md says, you can download a specific version from the releases page.
