I just tried the latest beta 1.3.(rc8), the flip tilemap feature is really great, but I noticed that the “convert to tilemap” is not recognizing the flipped tiles and add them as unique tiles.
I think to make it useable, the feature should be added to acknowledge these flipped tiles as tile instances when converting a layer.
Hi @xxx, thanks for your comment. You are right! now it would be nice to show the “new tilemap/tileset” properties when we use the Convert to Tilemap command.

This new feature is already available in v1.3-rc9 released today:
When we convert a regular layer to a tilemap this dialog will pop up so we can configure the tileset options
