Copy-paste from layer to tiles-set

Hi,

I cannot copy paste from one layer to a tiles-set layer

I tried using the marquee, I tried creating a brush, nothing works, the pixels don’t even appear as I hover the mouse in the tiles set layer

is it even possible ?

ok I found out I had to select a color in the palette…I guess
