Do you know how to put two things with different speeds?

(I’m using google translator because I don’t speak English well, so if something reads strange, it’s most likely because of that)
I’m testing Aseprite by making a gif, but I have the problem that I don’t know if I can make the bird I made go faster than the movement of the leaves, I’ve been looking for it but I didn’t see anyone explain that.

I would greatly appreciate the help.

No that isn’t possible. You can only change the speed of the whole frame.

there are two options:

  1. keep the framerate and move bird further in each frame (basically skip every 2nd frame), that will make it look like it’s going faster. but it won’t look as smooth
    or:
  2. make the whole animation run faster and duplicate each frame of trees.

like this (b is a bird, T is a tree):
option 1 (same frame length, bird is faster):

frame . . . .
b --- 1 3 5 7
T --- 1 2 3 4

option 2 (shorter frame length, trees are slower):

frame . . . .
b --- 1 2 3 4
T --- 1 1 2 2
