I’m creating a map right now and would love to be able to create lines with regular spaces throughout to get a sort of treasure map look, hence the idea. The tool would go under the line tool, of course, and would have color options for “dots” and the “spaces,” and maybe a checkbox for keeping those two options the same (like the “Lock Ratio” button found when changing the size of a sprite).
The Dotted Pencil tool would work in much the same way, but along any curve instead of just straight lines. I’ve included a quick mock-up of what the options would be and how the lines could look.
