Im trying to open a GIF but it always says “Error loading GIF header”

hi, Medifier, couldn’t your issue be related to a similar problem described here and here?

Hi there @Medifier, just in case could you please share with us the .gif file at support@aseprite.org?

@Medifier we’ve received the file but it’s a .webp file, if you rename the .gif to .webp Aseprite will open it.

Anyway we’ve took note about this to detect .webp files by the file content.
