Yes, I know .gif doesn’t support partial transparency. But I used transparency to draw an image, and every partially-transparent pixel is on top of a fully opaque pixel. How do I export the finished animation as one image? Even when I switch it to RGB mode, or flatten/merge all the layers together, or try and set them to background layers to try and remove the transparency, it just won’t export as a gif correctly. Is there any way for me to force aseprite to export the gif exactly as it appears in the program?
Nevermind, after scanning a few more forum posts I figured it out. My gif has too many colors, so the gradient/glow effect I drew is blocky. Any way I could export it as a video instead? I could manually export every frame as a PNG and edit it together, but I’d rather not.
At the moment, you can use ffmpeg to do that: Exporting as mp4 - #7 by David_Barker
