It was discussed for several years and is still an issue to this day. Some or most of exported GIFs are glitching in Discord. It might be an issue with the Discord itself, but unoptimizing GIF with a random online GIF manipulation service helps avoiding this bug. Maybe it would be nice to just add the checkbox to export unoptimized GIF as a simple workaround?

Started to happen to me too, i think it’s linked to having different layers of color on a given pixel, discord then interpolate and seem to chose a random color for each frame.
Removing overlapping layers seemed to fix it (not ideal of course, just a technical fix).
Another fix i found is to set your color mode to indexed before exporting, it seems to totally fix the glitching problem.
(Using aseprite 1.3.12)

I’ve experienced the same problem myself in the last few days, even old gifs that worked fine, have suddenly started to glitch.
