Create a depth map in seconds for spherical or cylindrical objects - or many other shapes.

It can work within a selection, or across the whole canvas.

Full disclosure - ChatGPT wrote a good portion of this extension - I reviewed and tweaked the code with the help of ChatGPT about a hundred times to get it just right. I designed the extension and ChatGPT filled in the details.

Using this in combination with a normal map generator produces fantastic results!

I’ve added several new settings to this to “round” it out (pun intended )

Here’s the new settings window:

… honestly, this is going to save me hundreds of hours. Well, in reality, it’s just going to make my game possible, I wouldn’t be able to craft all the needed depth maps manually.
