GhostFrames

Not generative AI. GhostFrames does not create art from prompts. It runs optical-flow style frame interpolation (RIFE) between your keyframes.

Speed up your animation workflow with GhostFrames for Pose estimations. Generate intermediates on the timeline, then keep drawing where it matters — final frames or onion ghost guides.

RIFE is a video frame-interpolation model (estimates in-between frames from two images). It is not an image generator.

Faster inbetweens, your style stays yours

Select a frame range on the Aseprite timeline, run Interpolate frames…, and get intermediates in seconds. Use final frames when you want ready art (effects, prototypes), or onion reference mode when you want a semi-transparent ghost guide to redraw over — you keep stroke, palette, and style.

Now it’s compatible with Linux.
For the Linux version you need to have python3.
The Windows version doesn’t need python or any dependency, it works just as you install it, you can install the Linux version on Windows if you have python3 installed since it’s a bit faster for generating the frames
