[Extension] Heos Cloth. Fabric physics in Aseprite

Relatively recently, I discovered a way to create 3D effects within Aseprite. I’ve been researching and experimenting with this idea for quite some time now. My first finished script that achieved what I had in mind was this cloth simulation. But I already have a few more up my sleeve that I think will really push the limits.

With Heos Cloth, you can turn any image into a piece of cloth and make it sway in the wind, let it fall, have it collide with objects, drag it across the ground, make it fly, or even destroy it.

More scripts using 3D as their central theme will be coming soon =D

At some point why even use aseprite if no actual pixel drawing will be done

Who says you won’t draw any pixels at all? I think that being able to simulate certain materials or assist with certain animations using scripts doesn’t mean you stop drawing altogether. It’s not a filter—it’s a simulation specifically for pixel art.

Sounds like AI with extra steps

Wow. Ok. Be careful if you ever open Blender.
