A little something is cooking…

I’ve been working on a companion plugin for my Isometric Tree Generator.

It adds a few things to the workflow that I’ve been wanting to have for a while.

Here are a couple of sneak peeks:

Isometric Tree Generator - v1.1 Update

IMPORTANT WARNING: The branch and trunk settings of your previously saved trees will definitely change!

1. Branch Randomness & Elevation Pitch Fix:
   • Full 360° Distribution: Sub-branches and twigs now sprout around their parent branch with independent, truly random angles instead of following a fixed direction.
   • Elevation Pitch Fix: Previously, negative values (like -90) forced branches straight down into the ground; now they naturally angle outwards to the sides relative to the branch they are attached to.

1. 1:1 Cylindrical Bark Texture (UV Wrap):
   • Whatever you draw on the 16x16 canvas (rings, vertical stripes, custom patterns) wraps cleanly and seamlessly onto the trunk without distortion or artifacts.
   • Use Cylindrical Rotation to freely spin your drawn texture around the trunk.

Wind & Shadow Effect (Companion Extension)

Wind & Shadow Effect is the official companion extension for Isometric Tree Generator v1.1. It automatically loads your saved trees and creates procedural wind animations and dynamic 3D ground shadows directly inside Aseprite.

Winter pack

What’s new:

• New procedural snow accumulation system with detailed controls for branches, twigs and leaves.
• Snow can be generated procedurally or using your own 16×16 snow stamp.
• Snow follows the tree’s depth and behaves naturally with the Wind & Shadow companion extension.
• 27 language support has been added.
• The shadow system has been completely rewritten to accurately follow the actual tree, including branches, leaves and snow.
• Several bugs and preset system improvements have also been fixed.
