Frames not going in order

Using the beta version. Frames aren’t going in order, i’ve checked the settings, everything’s right. It works with smaller regular sized pixel art stuffs, but the image i’m working with to make a gif is 7000 x ~4000. Need help ASAP.

Can you describe the steps you took to reproduce the bug?
What’s your Aseprite version?
Do you have tags in your timeline?
Could you share a screenshot of the entire Aseprite Editor?

Just in case, you can also get personalized support by contacting support@aseprite.org.

no tags, any image with a dimension around 6000 ish has this affect, used beta, tried using the newest official release, same issue

Sorry, I believe this is due to technical reasons related to the GIF format itself and the power of the browser/computer. That is, the GIF format is decoded differently depending on the browser/image previewer used. Some browsers may perform decoding “on the fly,” which could cause frame skipping if the GIF is too large. In other cases, other apps may preload the GIF into memory and display the result without frame loss. I believe there is no solution from Aseprite for this problem. My recommendation is to use GIFs smaller than 2048x2048 (it could be less depending on your system’s capabilities).

damn ok then
