When I copy an element in photoshop to Aseprite, the image gets white background (and loses transparency)

that might be the issue of how photoshop handles the clipboard.
when i copy from aseprite and paste to photoshop, the background is black.
when i copy from photoshop and paste to xnview, the background is white.
when i copy from aseprite and paste to xnview, the background is transparent.
if you don’t want to delete the background with magic wand selection, the possible workaround would be to use script for photoshop which can export layers as separate files:
