The beta is only available via Steam. If Steam isn’t an option for you, you’ll have to wait until 1.3 is out of beta.

I watched some video on Youtube about new tileset features of Aseprite. That’s exactly what I need for my project. Was so impressed I bought Aseprite via Steam immediately. Can I get v1.3 beta access code please?

Hi, I’m new here 
(not new to aseprite) I saw the beta branch is only available through steam, does this mean the beta version will get tied to steam? So far I tried to avoid this (generally for programs, not only aseprite)
i download beta through humble bundle and other options are probably available as well.
