Hello, Aseprite Community! I'm Pixilized

Hello! I’d like to introduce myself to the Aseprite community. I’m Pixilized, and I’ve been doing pixel art for a few years (Although I didn’t really get decent at it until February of this year). Up until a few weeks ago I’ve been using Pixilart to make art, but a few weeks ago I got Libresprite. It was great, but the features it was missing frustrated me. So today, I got Aseprite. I compiled it from source though, sorry. I researched thoroughly to find out if it was legal, and voila! I discovered on this website, the creator directing someone to a tutorial to compile from source. I’m glad it’s legal, but I still feel bad about not purchasing it, and I would love to support the creators. However, I don’t have $20 at the moment to buy Aseprite, but when I have more money I’ll pay for it fully as I really want to be able to help fund development. (I’m not poor I’m just a high schooler, that’s why I got no money). Anyway, I just want to say I love this app, and I’m so glad it exists! It has amazing features, a nice community, and great extensions for features that haven’t been / won’t be implemented. Thanks for reading this, and I’m sorry if this isn’t the kind of topic that should be created on this site.
