How do I make the color picker tool work between two seperate files?

I am imitating some other guys’ works and tutorials to learn, but I like accuracy

When I use a color picker on another file, it turns back into a color from my original color palette

Hi @SwordSorcery2020, probably this is due that you are working with two different indexed files. In these cases you might find useful the RGB+Alpha Eyedropper mode:

Works real well, how do I set it as a default?

Just changing the option, it should be kept for future sessions.
