I made (and fried) a giant Volturnian Lobster for a friend's Starsector-themed Lancer campaign

Death Asset Tokens

Hello! I recently drew up a massive Volturnian lobster Matriarch for a friend group’s Lancer TTRPG campaign that’s based in the Starsector universe. This is my take on a mutated Volturnian Lobster matriarch after tonnes of radioactive sludge was dumped into the ocean. As a reward for its defeat, this office building-sized catch of a lifetime was coated in 11 herbs and spices, and fried up as the party’s reward after destroying the lobster matriarch.

I’m only uploading a couple files, but for the actual game (we’re running it in Foundry VTT) the GM had individual tokens I had segmented from the head, claws, and rest of the body. During the fight each lobster arm was their own piece under the claws that could be stretched and rotated to make it look like the lobster was moving it’s arms and claws around the map. The bloody asset versions were a quick last-minute addition I drew in two days to be used as the “death” tokens for when the party destroyed them, so there’s not as much detail as I’d prefer *BUT* they’re still pretty sick. The buttered versions were drawn up in like a day.

I’m debating on possibly turning this into a Barotrauma mod, but I feel like I’d have to completely change the perspective to get it to work.
