Indexed Mode Console Error

A found a glitch that after you do it, you get this error:
A problem has occurred.

Details:
Cannot modify the sprite.
It is being used by another command.
Try again.

How to do this glitch:

  1. Go into Indexed Mode.
  2. Select ANYTHING in the picture.
  3. Drag it and don’t deselect it.
  4. Middle click any color in the palette to set it to the background color.

Welcome @GallantArc302! I was able to reproduce this bug, I’ll see if we can fixed it for the next release.

An interesting case in the future would be to be able to change the transparent color of the selection clicking in some way (not sure if with middle click) the color bar. But that is something to think in the future.

Any updates on this one? I just had the same error occur

How do i get rid of it? Its is starting to desesperate me. It bugs all the freaking time! I can’t draw like that.

Been a while since I logged on, but yes, it’s now fixed in the new update
