I’ve installed a few fonts that I’d like to use in Aseprite, but the fonts aren’t showing up in the dropdown menu of the text tool. I’ve turned off Aseprite multiple times to see if that resolves the issue. It still doesn’t show up. Please help!
Welcome @binkobon! what version of Aseprite are you using? The latest one v1.2.18? are you on Windows or macOS? Did you install those fonts as an administrator (system wide) or in your user folder?
We’ve solved this problem on macOS and Windows but in different versions (and I think Windows was the latest one with the fix). User fonts should be installed in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Fonts (generally) on Windows (and in ~/Library/Fonts on macOS).
Thanks for responding! I actually figured out the issue. I didn’t notice that it had to be a .ttf file for it to work in Aseprite.
