Is a Pie Menu being implemented?

I found this post x.com where someone made a pie menu extension. The official reply to that is that it’s already being worked on.

Is there an update to this?

This is not official but that looks a bit like what I created, while they added better animation and a nice colour palette in the center. You can extend my code yourself if you want to add extra functionality. I’m not actively developing this further, but I didnt gave up on the project either.

Thanks! This an excellent start. I don’t really care about the animation. What I would like is that the palette is close to my pen. The tools are an added bonus. I will definitely have a look at this!
