I was looking around for good pixel art software and came across aseprite. However, the software looks like it’s mainly a tool for animation; my reason for looking for software is to draw a detailed pixel art pieces and not really animate. Is this software the right software for my purposes?
It’s good for large, non-animated pieces too. However, if you like to use a lot of dithering or like to use pen pressure sensitivity, then you may find Aseprite a little lacking in its present state.
