It would be really good if you could select a layer group and turn it into a Prefab. Like in Unity.
That way you could make multiple copies of it and then modify one and it would modify the other copies. Back In the Adobe Flash days they had this type of feature they called it a “movie clip” it was super useful.
Some use cases for this.
- Your drawing a whole bunch of walls with different angles. Currently I have to copy and paste it over and over when I make a modification. It would be so good to just replace the side wall and it does it every where.
I do know aseprite has a feature to convert to a ‘Tilemap’ but the problem is you need to flatten all the layers. I want to preserve all the layers. The same way that in Unity it preservers the gameObject Hierarchy.
