I let my brother use aseprite last night and the layer window has disappeared. How do I get it back? The frames are showing its only the names of the layers that are not.

They’ve probably just been collapsed. If you hover your cursor over the left edge of the frames, you should get an arrow cursor and then you can click+drag the layers back out to visible. It might take a few tries as there might be the resize trigger for the entire layer/timeline area right next to it and you might click that by accident.
