Memory leak on Windows 11 latest version of Aseprite

Latest version of Aseprite has a memory leak… I’m seeing insane RAM usage while idle, not even doing anything. Using 8 gigs of ram is totally insane

That usage could be normal if you had a lot of high-res frames in your currently open sprites. Whether you’re idling isn’t really relevant; what do you have open?

And a “leak” is usually when the memory usage keeps increasing and never decreases. Is this what you’re observing?

I have like, 1 frame, and a couple of grass tiles. I was also using a tilemap layer today with 3 layers total, like 90 pixels in total, copying over from Layer 1 > tilemap 1… it wouldn’t do it. Aseprite freezes for 2.5 seconds, then deletes what I pasted into the tilemap
