Mouse Lag on macOS High Sierra

Hi, I’ve downloaded the trial version of Aseprite to try it out. I really like the app but I’m getting quite a bit of cursor lag on the Canvas.

I’m on macOS High Sierra with a retina display. It’s worse when I enlarge the window (e.g. go fullscreen). It helps to change the screen scaling to 100% but it doesn’t eliminate the lag completely. This lag does not occur when I’m using the move tool or when I’m in preferences.

I think Aseprite is great but is there any way to improve the performance?

Hi @max, I’ll try to release a new version (v1.2.4) today with some performance improvements (mainly for macOS)

Finally got access to a retina display, and it looks like there is a performance penalty in retina display. You can try this temporal fix.
