i would just round the heart a little

Suggestions on how to do so? would I need to have more pixels overall? here i moved the pixels on the upper curve.

Looks good. I’d advise you close the gap at the top center part of the heart. Also consider that curves aren’t really curves in pixel art, so you might have to increase the height of those lines on the outer top sides. Here’s a quick recreation I just did for example. This is 12 x 13 px scaled to 600%, for legibility, so you shouldn’t have to increase the size. I just started using this program also. It’s unbelievable how much technique it takes to make such simple art!
