This is my third runing movement practice
I think it would be wise to time your animation so that it follows a normal walk/run cycle. Remember to have the feet make contact with the ground before the person springs back up to take another step. When the leg is stretching out would be a good time to move the background. I like the second practice in terms of accuracy and I think what you have so far is pretty cool!
