Need help deciding what to do

Continuing my development along the Castlevania lines, I was animating some random items… And, well… I don’t know what to do with the small heart:
This is what I did with the large heart:
I don’t want to just animate the small heart rotating as well. I’ve tried a glittering effect, glowing outlines, tracers along the edge, a shimmering effect rolling across it, rocking side to side, hovering slowly in a circle. I even tried to make it pulse like the left and right ventricle of a real heart… … …Llllleeeeet’s just say that’s an image I can’t get out of my head. I guess cartoon hearts aren’t supposed to beat realistically! Lol.

Anyway, if anyone has any ideas that could spark progress that would be great.

P.S. Here’s a couple other items I’ve done so far:
CV2-HUP Heart Max Up
They’re all 16 bit, use a 16 color limit, and are 16x16 pixels.

Thanks. Lol. I kind of blended a bunch of the HP Maxes from different CV games and then animated it.

Maybe you should do some kind of classic enemy, like gargoyles a Dracula or a medusa head

Make it just kinda hover, up and down would be cool :slight_smile: It’s what I’d do.

You should synchronize all the small hearts to hover in a wave pattern
